| I have done the steps from Wiki many times, and never run into an issue. Make sure to make a copy of conf folder as well just in case. |

Try linphone (linphone.org) or MicroSIP (I am not sure if it is supported on all OS)
However, as ericcc mentioned, it is best to do the call forwarding at the pbx level. |
