Modify expires value in NOTIFY

6. Your problem:

I have few Phone device with multiple lines registered to the PBX with Voice mails. Our devices do MWI through SUBSCRIBE-NOTIFY. While sniffing the network, found that the NOTIFY is set to expire every 60 seconds and hence putting too much traffic from one single device on the n/w.

I would like to know how to modify the Expires to to some value in NOTIFY.

Please set Dial Plan as follows:

Matching Patterns

$request = ^REGISTER

Deploy Patterns

$action = register &net.registrar.adjust.expires = <expires-time>

then re-register your device.

That didn't help.

I have five lines on my desk phone and all are registered to Brekeke. I open a wireshark and monitor the SIP traffic and there is a flood of SUBSCRIBE-NOTIFY going in between server and my device.

You have to change the phone settings.
It is impossible to handled the problem at server side.
