What is the difference between SIP and MGCP/Megaco? I see some places say that MGCP/Megaco is a media protocol, while some places say it's a signal protocol. Does is it do both? I have read some articles about them, but still not sure what their most significant difference is. Could somebody answer my question? I know this is not exactly the best place for this post, but still hope I can get some answers.
