|
|
1. Brekeke Product Name and version: Brekeke SIP Server 2.1.6.2
2. Java version: 1.5
3. OS type and the version: Win XP SP2
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
Grandstream GXV3000 1.0.1.20 and Aethra Vega Star Silver 6.0.49
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html : 4
6. Your problem:
Video and audio working, but I need to turn RTP relay off completely.
I have followed all steps in forum related to rtp relay and editing the sv properties, but no joy.
The more hops away the SIP server is, the more bandwidth it pulls through our gateways to the SIP server, we could make our calls better if rtp went direct to the other party.
Are there concise directions to do this?
Here is a session log showing rtp on when I told it to be off:
plug-in InviteSession

listen-port 5060
sip-packet-stacked 0

Hi MadDogMike.
Did you try "$rtp = off" at the DialPlan??
I think it will be the solution. |

HI James,
I have set &net.rtp.relay.localhost=off in the matching pattern and $rtp=off in the deploy pattern
Is that correct? |

Hi,
Why did you set "&net.rtp.relay.localhost=off " in the Matching Pattern?
I think you need only "$rtp=off" in the Deploy Pattern. |
