1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
ONDO SIP SERVER 1.5.3.0/172
2. Java version:
1.5.0_04
3. OS type and the version:
Windows XP
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
Polycom phone.
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :
Polycom -- Internet -- BrekekeONDO SIP -- Asterisk.

6. Your problem:

We have other clients with the above configuration who are not having any problems.

Our client can not make or recieve calls.

We have found that the client is registered approximately 8 times on the brekeke ondo sip server. I have never seen that happen before. Normally our clients are only ever able to register once.

So we think this is the problem why they can't make or recieve calls.

1a. Can you help us so that they can only register once?

1b. If they can only register once will this fix the problem?

2. Can you help us investigate?

More information (Here is how they are configured on our server more than once, note that they are approximately registered 11 times to the brekeke ondo server [below are 5 real examples])

We also tried making a call to that number ie 282125236 and it just gos to static and the VOIP phone does not ring. Below are the session logs. [Im guessing this occurs because the phone is registered to our network more than 11 times, where it should only be registered once, please confirm and assist]

Did you change something recently?

Please restart Polycom and the SIP Server.

If the problem still persists, let you update firmware (both Polycom and the SIP Server).

We did restart the sip server and the polycom phone.

Could it be a networking issue?

Is their anyway to tell ONDO sip server to only allow one registration per 1 client/user?

If there are multiple registrations using the same user id to a sip server, then the last one registered will receive the call. There is either a problem with the polycomm or the remote network. Is the polycomm behind a nat router and is the lan ip address range of the polycomm in the standard lan ip address range? Have you tried a different phone at the remote location? That would eliminate a network problem.

The SIP Server doesn't have such a setting.

Did you update polycom's firmware??
or... use another client device instead of polycom.

Also, the problem may be caused by the router..
so let you try another router.
