answer to old post about java io exception

Hi all,

I'm having the same problem with the one discussed on this post:

but the poster didn't seem to really explain what was wrong with his plugin. If anyone know or the poster still read this forum, can you please elaborate? It'll be very helpful.

are you using your own plug-in??

Did you restart the server?

Yes, we are using our own plug-in.
Well, of course we restarted the machine after that happens but i don't think it will fix it. It's just waiting for the exception to happen again.

Did you get the same Exception?
>> java.io.IOException: The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file

Does your plug-in access any file directly?

yes, the same exception

Does any other process or application access the same log file?
It will be cause of the problem..
