Register Failed : 404

1. Brekeke Product Name and version:SIP Server 2.2.1.6

2. Java version:6.0_0.2

3. OS type and the version:WIN XP Professional SP 3

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :

6. Your problem:When trying to unregister an account I get the message Register Failed : 404 , when I was on the previous version of SIP Server 2.0.7 I was able to do so with no error.

It seems you have own DialPlan rules..
Is it correct? If so, make sure these DialPlan rules have "$request = ^INVITE".. otherwise, REGISTER request will be matched by them..

This is my dial plan
Matching Patterns
$request = ^INVITE
From = sip:(1.+)@
Deploy Patterns
$target = sipxxxx.com
$rtp = fals

Do you have any other DialPlan rules?

Are you using Upper or Thru registration function?

What I had is another rule in my dial plan to stop the rtp for incoming calls:

Deploy Patterns
$registered = True

Matching Patterns
$rtp = false

That must've conflected with the upper registration
now its working fine and I can delete any registered account

so did you add "$request = ^INVITE" in the above DialPlan rule?
