1. Brekeke Product Name and version: OnDo SIP Server 1.3.3.3
2. Java version : 1.4.2_06
3. OS type and the version :Windows XP , 5.1
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html : pattern 1
6. Your problem:
Two SIP UAs with same alias/name can be registered to the server, no error messages are got during registration. However when tried to call from one UA to the other (both same name), call failed.SIP UA used is built using the SIP stack APIs of WinCE.
I want to know if there is a way to enable the server nto to allow two UAs with same name to be registered ? |

Why are you using the same name for both UA?
You need to use a unique user name if you want to make a call between UA. |

I wanted to know what the SIP server does when two people register with same name ? This is a requirement for testing our UA. H,.323 GK does not allow this. Similar test is done in SIP, hence we need to know what the SIP server does or what is the expected behaviour in SIP. |
