1. Brekeke Product Name and version: 2_2_6_2

2. Java version:

3. OS type and the version:Server 2003 in PBX machine & XP in clients.

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: X-Lite, Grandstream FXO 4 ports.

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :2

6. Your problem:
He all,
I'm connecting my internal LAN with PSTN through an FXO, the calls come from pstn to brekek pbx & directed to the desired ext. (x-lite) , most of the time the voice quality is fine bt somtime it becomes poor.

So how could i get the highest possible voice quality ?

& is it possible to get a (pstn to pstn/pstn to mobile) voice quality
with my Voip calls? or at least near to it?

regards 2 all..

Which audio codec are you using in X-Lite and FXO?

Try to use another audio codec.. It will improve voice quality.

HI,

If you have QoS switchs, please activate it at DiffServ with DSCP 46, X-lite marks the IP packetrs withs thsi value in DSCP field.

I your switchs are unable for activiate QoS, you must to cahnge them.

Niggy,

CPU and memory spec will also effect voice quality.
I recommend that you use high-spec PC for Brekeke PBX.
