1. Brekeke Product Name and version: Brekeke PBX, Version 2.2.6.2

2. Java version: 1.5.0_14

3. OS type and the version: Windows 2003

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html : 9

6. Your problem: need to mask original URI before forwarding calls to another network. Already tried suggestions posted at this forum but no success. Any help deeply apreciated.

Hi!

Please give more specific detail of what you are trying to do and I'll do my best to help you out. Glad to see you are now on Windows.

We are sending DID calls forward and would like to mask origin using a domain like 'example.com' at the URI that arrives destination.

Damatta,

you need to replace the deploy pattern "from" field for the route in the ARS.

For example:

"Damatta" <sip:1234567890@1.2.3.4>

It must be in this format and notice the space before the <sip:

The Damatta would show up as the caller id name, the 12344567890 would show up as the caller's number and if you wanted to spoof the ip address you put in 1.2.3.4 like above.

I assume you are forwarding the call using the PBX correct, not the sip server.

I hope this helps.

We want to 'spoof' just the origin IP address and keep the correct CLI. How can I achieve this?

Oh, OK.

Matching Patterns
sip:(.+)@

Deploy
"$1"<sip:$1@1.2.3.4>

Where 1.2.3.4 is the spoofed ip address.

Post what it looks like before you make the change. what does the original uri look like? It appears that there is no value in the sip:(.+). I posted the patterns above right out of a test ars i did for you. You must not be receiving the caller id.

Make sure you are putting sip:(.+)@ in the FROM matching pattern.

Also, maybe copying and pasting the string lost the space before the <. Make sure there is a space before the <.
