1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
PBX , SIP SERVER 2.4.7.3/286.1
2. Java version:
1.6.0_21
3. OS type and the version:
Linux
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :

6. Your problem:
When a call is resumed from on hold state ,a beep sound is heard from snom m9 phone for 10 sec, which is generated from pbx as i discovered from ethereal and then recorded sound is played from m9 as the phone was recording while beep sound was heard. The user of M9 has call recording off. M9 has latest firmware. Any suggestions? Thank you.

do you record call by using #6 or define call record on from pbx user setting?
is call disconnected after 10 seconds or call record stopped after 10 seconds, and both side can still talk?

what did you set at options/Media Server system settings/message recording length
and pbx user setting page /Message recording length (sec)?

No, call record is off. i am not trying to record. I just want to resume m9 user from on hold state from m9 interface, going to option-on hold-option resume.

No, the call is not disconnected. M9 user that is the user who listen beep sound, after beep sound stops, receives sound from other user with delay. The other user can listen from m9 user normally. Then the delay is reduced to 3 sec.

what did you set at options/Media Server system settings/message recording length
and pbx user setting page /Message recording length (sec)?

600 sec , and pbx user setting page /Message recording length (sec) is empty.

No, exactly. I use AAstra 6731i sip shones and works very well.
On hold function, resume, etc works fine by following aastra ready key functions.
But if i press #6 from aastra, i have similar sound beep effect generating from pbx which keeps beeping all time. I have contacted snom, but after a week no response from them. That is why I assume it has to do with recording, even if user recording is off.
