1. Brekeke Product Name and version: 2.4.8.6/286.3

2. Java version: 1.6.0_27

3. OS type and the version: Linux cent5

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:X-lite

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html : 4

6. Your problem:

SIP Client sent a REGISTER message to SIP Server And then received 403 Forbidden from the Server. I don't know why the Server replied that.
I am certain that all configurations(SIP) and user informations(user name, password) are correct. Do I need other settings?(ex. dial plan)

ps. Please be patient for my poor English

Is the username for Authentication and the username in To-Header are same?

If not, set [Auth-user=user in "To:" (Register)] = "no" in the [Configuration] > [SIP] page.

Does the SIP Server send 401 or 407 before it sends 403?
or.. does the SIP Server always send 403?

Thank you for your reply

Yesterday, I fixed the problem. The keyword is..... 'REBOOT'.....T.T
Because I didn't restart my system after installing java and tomcat.

Why am I never thought of this?!!

I appreciate your comments.
And I wish this post helps someone who will see the same problem.

"whatever you do, reboot your system first" ^___^
