2. Java version:
1.6.0_26
3. OS type and the version:
Debian Linux
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
Cisco GW, Cisco 7680 Phones
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :

6. Your problem:
Hi,
We are testing Brekeke PBX on a 64 bit Dell server with a 32 bit version Debian Linux loaded and 32 bit version of Java.
Can you please let us know if we use 64bit version of Linux with 64 bit Java will we be able to get better performace and better resourse utilization or it does not matter. what is Brekeke recommendation for a 64 bit machine ?.

Brekeke PBX V2 supports x86, so you cannot use 64bit Java. But you can use 32bit Java on 64bit Windows/Linux.
Brekeke PBX V3 supports x86/x64 and using 64bit Java would help you scale large volume of calls. |
