|
|
1. Brekeke Product Name and Version:Brekeke SIP Server 2.4.8.6/286.3
2. Java version:1.6.0_45
3. OS type and the version:Windows Server 2008 R2
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
5. Your problem:
Java was updated on our server, upon reboot we couldn't start up Brekeke service
i installed Apache Tomcat 7.0, loaded the war file into apache root directory, i started up apache and was able to access the brekeke again, i had to enter my product key and things worked fine
there is still a "service" in the windows services which wont start, so i assume there is 2 installs on Brekeke ?
is there anyway i can uninstall the new version, and just fix the issue with the old version?
currrently the new install shows the Directory as C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 7.0
the old installation was C:\Program Files (x86)\Brekeke\proxy |

There are two Brekeke in same PC now..
But you will not have a resource issue until the "service" starts.
Java update causes the issue in starting the "service" because it changes the path.
To fix the issue, try the following.
http://wiki.brekeke.com/wiki/Update-Java-used-by-BSS-Win
Make sure you should remove "C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation" at first. |

ill have to try it after hours
so i have to delete the "C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation" at first.
then follow instructions from here http://wiki.brekeke.com/wiki/Update-Java-used-by-BSS-Win (which i recall doing and it didnt help, but ill try it again by also removing the c:\program Files etc) |

You need to remove "C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation" because it will use the same web server port. |
