1. Brekeke Product Name and Version:
Brekeke SIP Server Version 3.6.2.5

2. Java version:
1.8.0-121

3. OS type and the version:
Windows 7 Pro SP1

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
Not Applicable

5. Your problem:
Brekeke SIP Server was working fine. Then, after doing a Windows Update and rebooting the machine, the SIP Server won't start up again.

I've had this happen numerous times in the past. I've always ended up having to uninstall and reinstall the SIP Server.

Any suggestions on what I might do to fix this? Has anyone else had any problems with Brekeke SIP Server, like this?

I found the problem.

I had updated Java on this machine. After that, BSS didn't know where to find Java. I had to update a registry entry. I tried reinstalling BSS on top of the current installation but that didn't even update the registry entry. I had to manually change the registry entry to the knew Java location.

Some Java/Windows updates rewrite java's path in Windows Registry.
