1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
Brekeke PBX, Version 2.0.7.2 Pro (2.0.7.2/217)
2. Java version:
1.5.0
3. OS type and the version:
Win2003 Std Eng
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
Grandstream GXP2000
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :
Pattern 5
6. Your problem:

Our PBX was upgraded from 1.5X (2+ years old) to 2.X. Now we have two problems:

1. SIPServer (not PBX) hangs or stops working after around a day.
It has happened twice (upgrade was done 2 days ago). When it fails you can't restart it normally.
Only this method helps: Stop PBX, stop service, kill all java, wait a few mins. restart.
Which log file should I analyze/send?
What I found in \pbx\webapps\pbx\web-inf\work\sv\log\2007\04\sv.20070408.4.log:

listener: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
startup-time: Sun Apr 08 00:37:05 GMT-08:00 2007
life-length: 22:11:05
sip-packet-total: 60828
stacked-packet: 19046
session-active-invite: 0
session-active-all: 0
session-total: 40
session-peak: 3
session-tbl-size: 2
thread-active-cnt: 7
SIP-error: 10
Internal-error: 0

2. User names were changed (over 10 users allowed in trial version) to XX_ from XX. How can it be changed back (not recreate as there are setting, password, ivr, etc.)?

Thanks
Gabor

Gabor,

When you upgraded, what was the procedure. I suggest that when you upgrade you stop all java processes, copy the brekeke directory to brekekebackup. Then uninstall Ondo. In your case you probably should uninstall jdk also. Download JDK 1.5.0.11 and install. Install Brekeke pbx from exe file. Type in license and activate. Kill all java and tomcat processes. Copy your user directories from brekekebackup to new install location. Reboot and resetup the ARS and Sip server auths by hand. If you don't have a backup of the users directory saved before you upgraded I have no suggestions.

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion.
I could rename the users back.

I followed the upgrade documentation from Brekeke.

Now it seems that the SIPServer stops once a day a bit before midnight. After restart ("deep" restart works only) and during the day it is working just fine.
I hope there are any solution than reinstall the whole application from scratch...

Any idea which log file tells anything about the reason?

Thanks
Gabor

Gabor,

If you were talking about Linux reinstall I would agree with you but since you are using windows 2003 a reinstall consists of doubling clicking a single install file.

I ran into a problem when I installed V2 with 20 users and copied the user directory from v1 that had 25 users. I was never able to repair it so a reinstall with a 40 user license cleared up the problem.

Hi,
You were right.
What I did:
I uninstalled and installed PBX again.
Now it is working without any problem Smile

Thanks
