why does user register automatically ?

1. Brekeke Product Name and version:

pbx 2.0.7.2

2. Java version:

1.5.0

3. OS type and the version:

window 2000 pro

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:

6. Your problem:

i configured two users in pbx,only.
for example, i configured 8000 and 8001 users.

but, registered clients in sip server's interface, another user registered too.

user number is 3000 , i do not configured it.

but, number 3000 registered automatically.

and, i can call it.

how do i reslove it ?

Phones automatically register with SIP server if you assign SIP Server address in phone's configuration.

Just shut down the phone or maybe there is some options inside the phone allow you to set when to connect to SIP Server.

you can configure authentication at registration time in your sip server, this prevents unwanted users using your sip server.
go to sip server -> configuration -> sip(general) -> authentication register: on.

this means you need to create users with passwords for the users you allow to register with your sipserver.
