1. Brekeke Product Name and version: SIP server 2.1 Trial Version

2. Java version:

3. OS type and the version: Windows 2000

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
Hardware: we have tried Grandstream HT 503, Linksys SPA3102, Speedtouch 780.
Other software: WireShark, VNC

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html:
Pattern 8 - PBX/SIP Server is in a LAN and it is configured to connect with a SIP provider

6. Your problem:

We are testing the SIP server on an old machines with Windows 2000. The problem is that we are even not able to get the ATA simply authorized at the SIP server.

WireShark shows the following error messages: 401 Unauthorized and 403 Forbidden. We have checked UserName and Password combinations several times at the ATA and SIP server and we have tried several different ATA's and routers: Grandstream HT 503, Linksys SPA3102, Speedtouch 780.

Once and a while we get the following error message:
'Port not ready, Check Firewall settings and Conflicting applications, then restart machine'.
We have disabled all firewalls, checked port 5060 on other applications, no result so far.

Does Brekeke SIP server work properly on Windows 2000?
In the installation process we have uninstalled the SIP server once and reinstalled it, may that influence the behaviour and cause such problems?

Any suggestions are welcome, thank you on beforehand!

I'm using Windows200 for Brekeke. It works good.
It seems your password settings was wrong.. So you need to check the password again..

Try a softphone (e.g... X-Lite) for testing at first.
