error 403 forbidden during registration

I have downloaded Brekeke SIP Serveur, it start correctly but when I try to register an account with X-Lite I have the error 403 forbidden. Is there something to change in the default configuration ? Have you got an idea ?

Are you using INVITE authentication at the sip server?
Did you set the correct username and password at the x-lite?

I have just install the Brekeke SIP Server. There are no account registar in the server. With X-Lite, I try to register a new account on the server. Did I forget something ?
For the INVITE authentication, I suppose that it's X-Lite who send it. And for the username and password, I read that we could make what we want.

I don't know if it could be the same problem but I often have the error message :
Can not open database. Go to Configuration | Database to change settings. Otherwise, try rebooting the machine.

Which version of Brekeke SIP Server are you using?

Did you follow the "Basic Setup" (page 77)?

I use Brekeke SIP Server , Version 2.2.7.8 Evaluation.

Thanks for the Administrator's Guide. I have change some elements in the configuration. And I have create a new user and I can register my SIP client. You must create an user to register ? I couldn't register without a created user ?

If you disable REGISTER/INVITE authentication at the setting of the SIP Server, you don't have to create a new user in the SIP Server.

For security reason, I recommend you to use the authentication.
